Creating Pre-recorded videos: Camtasia vs. Screenflow Shootout

Video is the new PowerPoint. Two fantastic video tools are Camtasia and ScreenFlow. Both are particularly useful for creating narrated PowerPoints and other similar kinds of faculty presentations. Both cost about the same. In this session, Lloyd Rieber and Larry McCalla will show each in a friendly competition. You can decide which is the better choice for ease to learn, ease of use, and overall capability.

ITT Technology Workshop on Creating Online Surveys with Qualtrics

Qualtrics is an amazing tool for creating online surveys and is free to all UGA faculty. This session will introduce participants to how to create a simple Qualtrics survey, which is useful for both teaching and research.

Although not strictly required, it will be helpful if you request your free Qualtics account prior to the session. Contact OIT to request a Qualtrics account. Also, here is the EITS web page about Qualtrics.
